The Swedish Institute presents a new strategy for a stronger image of Sweden abroad.

The strategy, developed on behalf of the government, brings together over 300 stakeholders from business, academia, and the public sector in a shared direction to strengthen Sweden’s international competitiveness.
Business Region West, a regional partner of Business Sweden – one of the co-creators of the strategy – actively contributes together with other regional partners to the effort of conveying a credible, unified, and forward-looking image of Sweden to the world.
“It’s highly valuable to be part of this initiative. West Sweden has a lot to offer – from high-tech industries and circular solutions to a culture of collaboration and sustainable quality of life. In our part of the country, we focus on the blue – with seas, lakes, and rivers – the green – with forests and farmland – and world-class industry,” says Renée Daun, Establishment Advisor at Business Region West.
The Sweden Image Strategy highlights the country’s strengths in democracy, reliability, collaboration, and creativity – with the promise of room to grow. The aim is to provide everyone representing Sweden internationally with a shared tool to build relationships, foster trust, and address today’s hybrid threats and information influence.
