The city of Trollhättan is gathering forces for the climate

The city of Trollhättan takes an important step towards sustainability by joining the Viable Cities program. The investment is part of the ambition to contribute to a faster transition to climate-neutral cities by 2030 at the latest.
Declaration of intent for the upcoming work with Climate Contract 2030 will be signed on 6 December 2024 at European Viable Cities Day in Stockholm.
It is nice that we now have a municipality in Fyrbodal that is part of Viable Cities. It will also be useful for other Fyrbodal municipalities, says Tobias Källqvist Environmental and Climate Strategist, Fyrbodal Municipal Association.
Viable Cities is an innovation program with support from Vinnova, the Swedish Energy Agency and Formas, and works to drive the transition to climate-neutral cities through collaboration with authorities, municipalities and business. In the contract, cities and authorities concretize their commitments to accelerate climate change.
