T-Engineering Expands with Car Manufacturing in Trollhättan
T-Engineering is entering a strategic partnership with AC Cars, the UK’s oldest vehicle manufacturer, which will create jobs on historic grounds: Stallbacka, Trollhättan.
“We are very pleased with T-Engineering’s expanded operations in the automotive industry. This establishment is a great result of multi-level collaboration between the company, the City of Trollhättan, Business Region West, and Business Sweden,” says Jenni Hagman, establishment advisor at Business Region West.
Through the collaboration with AC Cars, T-Engineering will produce the AC Cobra GT Roadster and GT Coupe models at Stallbacka. In addition to production, the partnership also includes specific engineering functions to support the continued development of the company’s vehicle lineup.
The agreement also provides access to T Legacy Track – the well-known testing facility in the area. Production of the exclusive cars will begin in the spring.

35 Jobs – To Start With
Initially, the project is expected to create 35 jobs, but more may follow as the production pace of the exclusively handcrafted cars increases.
“This will bring positive effects for both the automotive industry and Trollhättan’s position as a hub for future mobility. We also know that demand for their cars is high, with orders for deliveries already in place,” says Robin Mashallah, Acting Head of Business Development for the City of Trollhättan.
