Business Region Väst has recruited Robin Mashallah as an Establishment and Investment Promoter for the Fyrbodal region. With extensive experience in business development and a strong commitment to sustainable growth, he will play a key role in strengthening the region’s attractiveness and business climate.
Robin Mashallah comes most recently from the business development division at the City of Trollhättan, where he has spent several years promoting business growth, supporting company establishments, and facilitating strategic collaborations between industry, academia, and the public sector.
– There are several reasons why I was attracted to working at Business Region Väst. First, it is a truly great team that I look forward to joining, and second, I see significant potential in all the exciting initiatives currently underway. It feels like the right time to take on new challenges, says Mashallah.
Building Competitiveness through Green and Secure Industry
The Fyrbodal region is currently at a stage where investments in green industry, electrification, and enhanced security intersect with a growing need for new skills and more business establishments. Over the past year, Mashallah has been involved in a collaborative project focused on developing advanced manufacturing for both civilian and defense-critical applications — an area he believes will play a central role in the region’s future competitiveness.
– We need to strengthen total defense capabilities and supply security while also creating new jobs in the region. I hope to contribute new perspectives to the work on establishment and investment promotion, reinforcing the defense value chain and putting western Sweden on the map within the defense industry, he says.
